FEU TECH ADDS DATA SCIENCE AND ANALYTICS, GEOSPATIAL AND DRONE TECHNOLOGIES TO BS COMPUTER SCIENCE IN 2018

FEU Institute of Technology strengthens its current curriculum by offering two new specializations next school year for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program- Data Science and Analytics and Geospatial and Drone Technologies.
Data Science and Analytics aims to develop the students’ skills and knowledge in the application and examination of data and information that can be used in the industry for operational optimization and effective decision making.
With this specialization, students will get a better understanding of business intelligence, data management concepts and data availability for reliable business decisions.
With Geospatial and Drone Technologies, students gain skills and knowledge in the application of drone technology to computer science research and geospatial research- the gathering of data that leads to the understanding of people, places and processes on earth.
This specialization aims to develop the students’ problem analysis and solving skills, help them design and implement computer-based solutions and understand its application to other areas of Computer Science.
With these two new tracks, FEU Tech hopes to produce more competent and more relevant IT graduates ready to fill up these in-demand careers in technology.
