Physics Society

FEU Tech Physics Society (PHYSO) was established on May 22, 2010 under Mathematics and Physical Sciences Department. Its Academic Director, Dr. Elizabeth D. Diaz, assigned Ms. Maria Crisella D.C. Pelaez as the adviser of the said organization.

PHYSO being the youngest organization in FEU Institute of Technology got its accreditation as a Recognized Student Organization on June 2010. Out of the twenty-five (25) recommended incoming 2nd year students, only seventeen (17) responded to the invitation made by Ms. Pelaez. These 17 young and energetic students were among the top scholars of FEU Tech mostly from the College of Engineering. They became the pioneer officers of FEU Tech’s Physics Society.

Even though the organization is just a way to celebrate its second year this 2012, PHYSO, being the baby organization of FEU Tech is considered to be one of the top performing organizations of FEU Tech in terms of activities and academic performances of its officers. All officers are among the top 10 cream of the crop for the entire College of Engineering and College of Computer Studies. These officers performed excellently both in academic and extra-curricular activities.

PHYSO as member of a national organization, Samahan ng Mag-aaral sa Pagpapaunlad ng Pisika, achieved and participated in different national activities. With lots of planned activities for the coming school year, PHYSO commits itself to continue its remarkable performances and active participation not only in the entire FEU Tech community but to its national membership
