The College of Engineering launched the first Engineering Week for FEU Tech last February 17 to 21, 2020, a momentous event that coincides with National Engineering Week around the world.

With this event, the different Departments hope to share an understanding of and interest in engineering with the FEU Tech community through diverse and engaging activities. With the theme Transforming Engineering into Creative and Innovative ideas into Business Opportunities, they also featured the scopes, options, and endless possibilities that can be pursued with a career in engineering.

A slew of workshops, activities, and forums was in line for engineering iTamaraws as well. From bridge building, a parody of the amazing race, FM radio-making, and of course, an engineering-themed bingo, the week-long celebration welcomed all students to freely take part in. Engineering Week closed on a high note with Engineering Night, a concert party to celebrate their successful first venture.

Despite the long nights of prepping and planning, the budding engineers behind the event are grateful for it and reminded them why they chose this career path. They all agree that it is a difficult but rewarding program to be in.

We look forward to the next Engineering Week in 2021! You may also look back on this amazing event by watching the daily vlogs we uploaded on TamsUp Studios, our official YouTube channel.
