FEU Tech Civil Engineering Student Hisham Sacar has been making his mark in the realm of math and physics, and the College is extremely proud to call him one of its own.

Recently, Mr. Sacar was crowned champion at Astro Quiz (college level), hosted by the Philippine Astronomical Society, and he and his teammates Christian Baldo and Mark Eulysis Alzaga were crowned champions at the Grandis Olympian 2015, a general education and math competition held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Mr. Sacar also placed 2nd in the Search for Outstanding Mathlete, held at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños, and placed 3rd at Math Max, hosted by Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Mr. Sacar shares that it really takes a lot of hard work and dedication to review and prepare for each competition. He recognizes the responsibility of carrying the school’s name, and he tries to honor it by doing his best and inspiring more students to join competitions.

For those who aspire to be a Math and Physics whiz like him, Mr. Sacar's advice is to try as hard as you can and leave no regrets: "Practice your hardest, work your hardest, be passionate, and be positive, that's all you need, both in competition and in life."

Mr. Sacar continues to train for more competitions and hopes to bring more honors to the FEU Tech Community. Keep up the awesome work, Hisham Sacar!
