#LoveInFEUTech: A Valentine’s Special Story (Part 2)

Posted: 2024-02-16

“𝙎𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙣𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙤 𝙪𝙢𝙪𝙬𝙞?”

How would you feel if your classmate suddenly asked you this?

For Charmaine and Joe Bunda, our second alumni for #LoveInFEUTech: A Valentine’s Special Story, this simple question changed their lives forever.

Looking back in 2016, Charmaine and Joe were brought together by fate in their internships at Ortigas. Although they have already known each other since freshmen, their bond only deepened as they started commuting home together after their internship shifts.

But since both Charmaine and Joe were scholars at FEU Tech and had to maintain their grades, the two dedicated themselves to putting their studies first, and chose not to make their relationship official until after graduation. In 2016, they finally graduated from the institution with the degree B.S. Information Technology with specialization in Digital Arts.

“It is undeniable that since our college days, Joe has been really talented and skilled in his craft... [But] instead of being intimidated, it inspired me to be better and master my expertise. Hence, we used each other's strengths to better ourselves,” Charmaine remarked.

Currently, Joe holds the position of Senior Video Editor Consultant in a government firm, while Charmaine serves as a Web & Graphic Design Executive in an international company. Additionally, they manage their own businesses on the side.

“Being a Digital Arts major greatly helped us in establishing our careers. Our business also benefits from our field as we applied our expertise in marketing strategies and collateral execution, significantly in video and social media materials.”

Joe and Charmaine work hand-in-hand in all aspects in life, serving as each other’s unwavering support system. After 8 years together, they began another journey of a happy-ever-after in September 2022, exchanging vows to hold each other’s hands tightly and promising that no matter where life takes them, 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙪𝙬𝙞.
