The FEU Tech community celebrated this year's Women's Month with a 5-day series of events championing inclusivity and building a supportive environment that acknowledges the significant contributions of women. The celebration spotlighted female leadership and active involvement in innovation, as well as the transformative role of technology in advancing gender equality.
The launch of these initiatives, themed “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” was opened by Director of Human Resources Jacklyn Anne C. Mantolino, who emphasized the importance of creating a safe space where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive.

In partnership with Medicard, the Human Resources Office held an insightful seminar on Back Pain Wellness hosted by Dr. Mary Grace P. Lim-Calalan. Sharing her expert advice on preventing and managing back pain allowed participants to learn about the importance of good posture, regular exercise, ergonomic adjustments, and holistic wellness practices. Through initiatives that align with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3): Good Health and Well-Being, such as this, FEU Tech continuously champions health education and overall well-being in their way. Acknowledging that women play a crucial role in shaping breakthroughs and driving positive change by their significant impact in research and innovation, the FEU Tech Library, iTamaraw Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment (iCARE), and the English Resource Center (ERC) organized the discussion: Breaking Barriers: The Role of Women in Research and Innovation, facilitated by Engr. Ma. Christina Joyce Manalo-Sta. Maria, who inspired students by stressing the invaluable impact of women in advancing knowledge, technology, and societal development through her experiences. All women in the FEU Tech community received the right healthcare through the free consultation with Dr. Sol Ulanday who is recognized for her decades of experience as a physician. Through the collaboration of the Health Services Unit and Human Resources Office, the initiative paved the opportunity for the associates to receive professional advice on menstrual health, contraception, fertility, and menopause management. With this activity in line with the International Women's Month 2025 celebration, FEU Tech was able to continue to push for and advocate accessible and inclusive healthcare. The iTamKaalaman: WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society Forum featured female leaders from the fids of government, science, technology, and national defense. The speakers namely: Valenzuela City’s Vice Mayor Lorena “Lorie” Natividad-Borja as the Keynote Speaker, UP Open University’s (UPOU) Director of the Office of Gender Concerns Dr. Maria Lourdes T. Jarabe tackling the Redefinition of Success for Women in Leadership, Philippine Coast Guard Chief Surgeon Capt. Aideline Yvonette J. Lazaro discussing Women as the Nation’s Defender, and LITHOS Manufacturing President Engr. Eleanor M. Olegario sharing what it feels like to be a Woman in Science and Technology. The FEU Tech Community, in its simplest way of admiring the drive and fearlessness of women, gave out appreciation cards to random female students and associates who were surprised and honored to be a part of the organization. Genuine reactions of the recipients were obtained in the reel inserted above. The organized essay and poetry writing contest called: Letters to Women who Inspire, by the English Resource Center (ERC) and the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communications (HSC) Department, in partnership with iCARE and the FEU Tech Library, allowed women to amplify their narratives as the initiative instructed that the piece should be dedicated to a woman who has made an impact in a certain field, changed one’s life, or acclaimed to be a visionary leader. With this, participants from the FEU Tech Community celebrated the strength, courage, and brilliance of women from various walks of life through a writing match. The list of winners is as follows:
