FEU Tech Engineering Leaders Honored with PFPA Distinction Awards at EXCeeD 2026

Two esteemed engineers and academic leaders from FEU Tech were conferred with prestigious awards last March 7, 2026 at the 48th Philippine Federation of Professional Association (PFPA) Anniversary and 13th Excellence and Distinction (EXCeeD) Awards 2026, held at the University of the Philippines Bahay ng Alumni, Quezon City.

Dr. Romano Q. Neyra, ASEAN Engineer, Senior Director for Engineering, received the PFPA Distinction Award for the Electrical Engineering Profession in the field of Applied Research and Development from the PFPA, the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), and the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE).

This is Dr. Neyra's second consecutive award from the PFPA, having been previously given the same accolade for Electronics Engineering in the field of Academe in February of 2025.

Meanwhile, Engr. Jaychris Georgette Y. Onia, ASEAN Engineer, Program Director of the Mechanical Engineering Department, was accorded the PFPA Distinction Award for the Mechanical Engineering Profession in the field of Academe by the PFPA together with the PTC and the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME).

This marks Engr. Onia’s first Distinction Award, recognizing her remarkable contributions to the academe and her dedication to advancing the Mechanical Engineering profession. She was also recognized as a Finalist for the PFPA Excellence Award in the field of Academe.
