Batangas bound, FEU Tech associates gathered at the gates of the College on the early morning of May 3, 2013. Everyone was prepared and excited for this year’s Summer Outing, which was held at La Virginia Hotel and Resort, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas.
One hundred eighty three teaching and non-teaching associates were brought together to celebrate summer and to recognize their exemplary performance during the 2nd Trimester of School Year 2012-2013.
Awards for Perfect Attendance, Service, Teaching Excellence, and Most Outstanding Associate were presented during the outing. Ms. Ma. Consuelo Tulayan, from the Facilities Office, was named Most Outstanding Associate for the 2nd term, SY 2012-2013.
The venue of the outing, La Virginia Hotel and Resort, is a 9-hectare compound featuring nature walks, cottages, a picnic tree house, an infinity pool, and a backdrop view of Taal Lake.
By the end of the day, associates chanted, Ala eh! (a commonly used interjection in Batangas, used to express joy). It was a special day.
