Technofest 2017: Rebuilding Resilience Through Technology

Technofest 2017 with the theme; Rebuilding Resilience Through Technology was held recently at FEU Tech. Being one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, Technofest brought together the FEU Tech community to showcase projects that have been produced through the Institution's project-based learning.

From engineering to computer studies, the event was jam packed with student projects, competitions and programs, making the week-long celebration truly remarkable. Some of the best projects that were presented during the exhibit were the Go-Kart vehicle by the Mechanical Engineering students, Impeller Vortex Apparatus, machine prototype that generates power through water flow by the Civil Engineering Students; short films, mobile applications and other projects by IT students.

Conferences were also held, which was attended by distinguished speakers from industry and the government sector, two of which are DOST Undersecretary, Dr. Rowena Cristina Guevarra and Sy^2 + Associates Inc. President and CEO Engr. Jose A. Sy. They shared meaningful advice to young iTamaraws on how to utilize technology to further contribute to the country's development.

Technofest 2017 was a blast! It was a collective effort of the Student Coordinating Council and other Recognized Student Organizations.
