Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

General Description

The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program prepares students to protect computer systems, networks, applications, data, and digital infrastructure from evolving cyber threats and security risks.

The program combines a strong foundation in computing, programming, databases, operating systems, and networking with specialized study in data security, software security, hardware and embedded systems security, network and communication security, system security, human factors, cybersecurity governance, risk management, policy, privacy, and ethics.

Through hands-on laboratories, simulations, case studies, cybersecurity projects, capstone development, and industry exposure, students learn to assess vulnerabilities, analyze threats, implement security controls, defend digital environments, investigate incidents, and support organizational cyber resilience.

Students are also introduced to emerging cybersecurity domains such as cloud security, artificial intelligence and machine learning security, Internet of Things security, and industrial control systems security. The program aims to produce competent, principled, innovative, and socially responsible cybersecurity professionals who can contribute to secure digital transformation and nation-building.
