On April 25, FEU Tech Innovation Center hosted the global celebration of International Girls in ICT Day 2024, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), through the Digital Innovation for Women Advancement (DIWA).
Women from various sectors engaged in a day filled with inspiring talks from industry leaders, mentorship sessions, networking, and hands-on activities covering AI, data analytics, blockchain, cybersecurity, digital creatives, and robotics. These provided valuable insights and meaningful engagement for all participants.
Designed to empower women in the world of Information and Communications Technology, the commemoration of International Girls in ICT Day aims to bridge the gender gap by advocating for greater inclusivity in the industry.
